Starhotels Majestic - Turin

The location was marvellous and incredible, only 5 minutes walk to torino. The staff was pleasant and exceptional providing the information. The breakfast was perfect with good food for all types of preferences and with outstanding food.

Location very central. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Assumed our room would have tea/coffee making facilities but this was not the case for the room we had chosen. However when we asked at reception about this, we were given the facilities.

Hotel staff is rude and no very helpful. They need to brush up on their customer service skills!

Particularly good and incredible location, 10 minutes' walk to an archaeological museum. Classic breakfast with a dish of broccoli and broccoli, as for instance, and with a family atmosphere.

Location was great - Hotel reception staff less than friendly on arrival. Breakfast included in rate was good value.

The hotel was very central and within walking distance of the Porta Nueva bus stsion - which you come into if you get the blue Sadem bus from the airport. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Although the decor was somewhat dated it was all very clean and our stay was very comfortable. One slight problem was that the room was too warm and we couldn't work out how to turn the temperature down - the thermostat didn't seem to control it.

Great luxury location close to the train station. Breakfast delicious!

Perfect location for Turino centre. Double bed as requested. Staff smart and helpful.

1. Given smoking room when non-smoking requested. Told no other room available. I refused the room and another (smaller) was found straight away! 2. Told to park in underground car park marked "Hotels". On departure told to pay teller in car park as it was a private parking. E23 per night! If I had known this I would have travelled from Milan by train. 3. Pleasant bar advertised, but never open during the stay. No reason given.

Everything was fine. The showerhead was not working properly but was immediately replaced when I complained. The room was large (specially for a solo traveller!) and the breakfast room enormous with a good buffet. Very pleasant that tables are far apart.

The fact that I was debited immediately when booking. It should be done when I left the hotel, or on arrival, but not weeks in advance.

The hotel's location was perfect, great to easily explore the historic center and the vibrant shops on Via Lagrange. The breakfast options were plentiful and satisfying, especially the fresh pastries.

My kids wished there were more kid-friendly dining options in the hotel.

I like the location, central and everything within walking distance. I have recently opened an office in Turin and am searching for a comfortable hotel for my visitors

On check in I was given a rather poor room. I asked to upgrade into an executive room which is much better and reflects the cost.

Excellent location close to the train and the subway. Safe to stroll around at night. Lots of great places to eat. We were able to walk to the center of turin. Breakfast was good but not great. The service at breakfast was very good. I would sty here again but would look at other options first.

I was disappointed when I paid for a triple and received a cot instead of 3 twin beds as advertised. The rooms wer not clean, there was too much mold. The wi-fi was only free for 30 minutes. At one point in time you could see it was an elegant hotel but those days are over, itis definitely not a 4 star hotel as rated. My stay was september2012.
